WELCOME

Kidwelly is a town in Carmarthenshire, west Wales, approximately 10 miles west of Llanelli. The town of Kidwelly lies on the River Gwendraeth above Carmarthen Bay. Kidwelly is a coastal town, ideally situated as a centre for touring West Wales, the Pembrokeshire National Park, the Gower Peninsula & the Brecon Beacons. The area is a superb mix of rolling countryside, seashore and woodland - indeed it is totally microcosmic of the rest of Wales at its finest.

Today, the town has adapted to cater for tourism and retail rather than dense industry, with historical attractions and beautiful countryside attractions including Kidwelly Castle.

CROESO

Tref yn Sir Gaerfyrddin yw Cydweli, tua 10 milltir i orllewin Llanelli. Mae’r dref yn eistedd ar lan y ddwy afon Gwendraeth (y Gwendraeth Fach a’r Gwendraeth Fawr) uwch Bae Caerfyrddin. Mae hi’n dref arfordirol sy’n ganolbwynt delfrydol ar gyfer teithio gorllewin Cymru, Parc Cenedlaethol Sir Benfro, Penrhyn Gwyr a Bannau’r Brycheiniog. Mae’r ardal yn gymysgedd gwych o gefn gwlad, glan môr a choetir – ac yn ficrocosm llawn o Gymru ar ei gorau.

Heddiw y mae’r dref wedi addasu ar gyfer twristiaeth ac adwerthu yn hytrach na diwydiant dwys, gydag atyniadau hanesyddol a gwledig megis Castell Cydweli.
